Do Justice to Make Peace

Our world is bizarre , yet it is wonderful.

War and violence and distrust and deceit is indeed everywhere.

AND there are people of peace lurking or living in all corners of the world.

I begin each day with reflections and action. Online action always includes the link above, where my simple and free visit to several sites can help build a world where justice is normal, not unusual.

Where Peace is the normal condition of life, I pray.

I share this scripture lesson with you in peace, today. I thank the friend who sent it to me, too.

A reading from the Letter of Paul to the Ephesians. (Eph 2:13-18)

Now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

For Christ is our peace; in his flesh he has made both Jewish people and Gentile people into one and has broken down the dividing wall, that is, the hostility between us.

Christ has abolished the law with its commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new humanity in place of the two, thus making peace, and might reconcile both groups to God in one body through the cross, thus putting to death that hostility through it.

So Christ Jesus came and proclaimed peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near; for through Christ both of us have access in one Spirit to God.

May peace fill your heart today.

Keep it SImple

Keep it simple.

It probably has been said before.

"One nation shall not raise arms against another-

training for war will be no more.

God alone is the source of peace.

Let us walk in the holy presence."

from Isaiah Chapter Two

I wait for days of real peace in this world.
I know it is unlikely in my lifetime.
People have been at war since the beginnings of time.

But it is the hope for a better future and a stronger NOW that
really matters.

Let us each make a moment of peace in our lives today.
